Help us learn about the effect of intermittent fasting on brain health and memory.

Who can join the study?

Adults 55-80 years of age.

What will participants be asked to do?

Volunteers will be asked to fast for 14 hours a day for 6 months. All volunteers will have a prescreening call to check eligibility. If eligible, participants will complete an initial study visit that lasts around 4 h. During the visit, participants will answer questions about themselves and their health, play brain games on an tablet, provide a sample of blood, and have the health of their blood vessels measured in different ways. After 6 months of fasting, we will repeat the visit. Participants can also opt-in to have their brain activity measured using a machine called MRI.

Will I be compensated for my time?

You will be compensated for participation in this study.
