Does COVID-19 worsen cognitive health and memory?

Who can participate?

Older adults between 55-85 years of age who have experienced mild cognitive impairment with slight memory, language, thinking or judgment problems. 

How long does it take?

The whole study includes two visits, 18 months apart. Each visit lasts 3 hours.

What will I be asked to do?

Answer questionnaires, participate in different measurements and complete an MRI scan. 
If you decide to participate in this study, you will be asked to do the following at two visits:
1) Blood draw.
2) Memory screening by playing memory games on electronic tablet.
3) Measure the health of your blood vessels in your hand and arm by using laser light or an ultrasound machine.
4) Measure the health of blood vessels in your brain by using a special cap.

5) Measure the health of blood vessels in your eye by using flickering light to measure how your blood vessels respond to this light.
6) Brain MRI scan at no cost to you.
