DO YOU WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT BRAIN HEALTH AND BRAIN AGING?

Researchers are recruiting older adults for a study on healthy aging, brain blood flow, cognitive function and alpha-ketoglutarate (AKG) supplementation. AKG is a compound naturally produced in your body for energy production.

WHAT WILL PARTICIPANTS BE ASKED TO DO?

You will receive commercially available supplements (AKG) or placebo capsules at no cost for 24 weeks. All participants will have a study visit (or call) to check eligibility, and two study visits to answer questionnaires about yourself, give a blood sample, and have the blood flow in your hands, arms, and brain measured.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Older adults above 55 years of age. You will receive compensation for each completed visit (if eligible).
