Postdoctoral Researcher Fellow
Rafal Gulej was born in Poland, where he completed his pharmaceutical education. In 2018, he came to Oklahoma as a Fulbright Scholar, where he conducted research on novel therapeutics with potential applications in glioblastoma, neurodegeneration, and aging. Following this fellowship, Rafal pursued his PhD studies investigating how age-related changes in plasma bioactive factors contribute to cerebrovascular decline and dementia. He has recently joined Dr. Yabluchanskiy’s laboratory, where he applies his molecular biology expertise to study changes in plasma factors during aging, disease, and in response to therapeutic interventions, extending this work to patient samples alongside preclinical models.
