Dr. Parisa Ghasemi graduated from the School of Medicine at Arak University of Medical Sciences, Iran, in 2015. She has extensive experience, having served as a family physician for two years and a primary care physician for five years. Driven by a passion for helping others and a keen interest in disease prevention, cure, and outcomes, Dr. Ghasemi transitioned to research to further her impact in the medical field. In April 2024, she joined the MORE lab at the Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC) as a research assistant under the supervision of Dr. Motolani Adedipe. She is currently building a strong foundation in research methodologies, leveraging her medical background to contribute to the lab's objectives. Dr. Ghasemi relocated from Iran to the United States in August 2022 with her husband and son, marking a significant step in her professional and personal journey.
